Presenting......Kylie Noelle Clifton
Our second beautiful gift from God arrived on Tuesday at 9:19AM, just as planned :) She was 6 pounds and 12 ounces and 20 inches long. We are so grateful for such a wonderfully safe delivery. God was totally with us the whole time and we felt encompassed by prayers! The spinal block worked wonderfully and I felt nothing except the love from my husband. And, of course, I cried when Kylie came out :) God was totally there and I felt His presence. In even better news, I felt GREAT shortly after surgery and we were able to come home in just a little over 48 hours after the surgery.
McKenzie is adjusting VERY well and we were absolultey blown away at her time with her Aunt Brooke!!! Aunt Brooke brought up her boyfriend Brad with her and their doggies Maddy and Lady. When we got home, we were speechless at all we saw. McKenzie and Brooke and Brad had made cookies, cupcakes, Valentines, and a welcome home sign for Kylie. McKenzie played in the snow, colored, and had SO MUCH fun with her Aunt Brooke. Ok...I was totally worrying for nothing! :) Yeah, McKenzie Grace had no idea I was even gone :) So...if you need a GREAT person to watch your children, here is her number..... :) Just kidding, of course.
Oh, and in other great news, Rob finished the basement just before we left. What a huge blessing!! He is the greatest. Despite my pregnancy nagging, "are you done yet?" he continued to persevere and the basement is absolutely beautiful and finished!!! I am so blessed. :)
So...with just a few hours less sleep (yes, Kylie is VERY nocturnal...VERY), we are doing fantastic. We give all the glory to God and we love our new family addition so much. Now, we know why it just wasn't complete before our little Kylie came around :)
Thank you for all of your prayers and support. Enjoy the pictures. And, of course, if you would like to come visit, just give us a call :)

And in just 15 hours, there will be FOUR....
Ok guys...this is it. Last post as a family of four. Today, we have spent the day bonding with McKenzie, finishing the painting in the basement, and watching with utter joy as she bonds with her Aunt Brooke, who has so graciously offered her time to come up here and spend with McKenzie. What a huge blessing! It's so comforting to know McKenzie will be just fine! :) All is well. Just trying to finish up a few things and at 5:30 tomorrow morning, we are leaving for the hosptial! Obviously, more will be posted later :)

Three days to go...
Hey everyone!
Just a quick update. We have three days left (not including delivery day). Excited beyond belief and hoping we can make it to Tuesday!!! :) I have been having some pains and stuff going on. Nothing major. I think baby is just getting ready. It's crazy because I have so much going on with this baby that I didn't with McKenzie, but there is one positive! I don't have ANY of the swelling to the extent that I did with McKenzie. We'll pray it keeps going that way.
So...it's 10:27 and we're working on the basement! Carpet is now coming tomorrow...we had a slight delay in construction :) Once the carpet is in, I will be running downstairs (not literally) to move Toys R Us into place!!! I am sooo excited because I am sooo tired of tripping over toys!! I can't wait!! My house will be back to normal very soon.
Other than that, we're doing well. Just hanging in there and waiting patiently for Tuesday. :) Life is good. :) I am craving hot fudge like crazy right now. Not sure where that comes from, but would love to have tons of it all over ice cream. Since "the diet" is starting VERY soon after this baby is born, I might as well eat it all up, right? :)

One Last Hurrah....
Tonight, I went out with friends and my sister to see Juno. GREAT movie!!! There is a lot of humor and a few twists in it. I liked it. :) Thanks to my BF Jen who told me to go see it :) Rob finished up some important electrical in the basement with his dad while he was here and tomorrow will be the finishing parts, which include drywall. The carpet is scheduled to go in on Tuesday. Speaking of Tuesday, that means we will have one more week after that!!! When I was saying goodbye to my friend Laura tonight, I realized that this will be the last time she sees me pregnant --- probably ever. That was a little bittersweet. So....there was also much debate over whether this is a boy or girl. Of course, we will be estatic to see a healthy baby, but I have to admit there is a huge part of me that wants to give Rob a boy....but that's already been decided :) There's no going back now. I had a very strange dream last night about the c-section. I won't go into detail, but it was hilarious. I am getting excited, but mostly looking forward to when the whole "surgery" part is over. :) I know God will take care of me, though. Well...it's 11:00 and I better get to bed while I still can :) In a week, this will all change.....It's CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!! Are we ready? :) I guess as ready as we'll ever be :)

Snow....Again?
Hey everyone! So...we're supposed to get 8-12 inches of snow. Yay!! Can you sense the sarcasm? :) Oh, how I wish we lived in Arizona! :) I am wishing more and more every day....So, it goes. We are now into February, so that is super exciting! Yes, it is 1AM and I am up..."working" online with my Tutor.com job. It's crazy! I am sooo sleepy, but I also know that in just a few short days, I'll probably be up around this time anyway, so it's good practice. Rob's dad and stepmom are here tonight. They drove up from OH to spend the weekend with us through Saturday. :) Sooo excited and McKenzie is too. It's not often we get out-of-town visitors, but we sure appreciate it when everyone comes! :) Alyce (Rob's stepmom) also brought yummy food for after baby comes to freeze! What a huge blessing! We're hoping to jump out and about a bit tomorrow, but we'll see where the weather takes us. It would be soooo cool if Rob could have the day off of work, but we'll see :) Well...I have three minutes left and am praying no one logs on to work with me, so I better jet. :) Have a great snowy weekend. I'm going to see Juno with some girlfriends and my big sis on Saturday. So excited! :) I love movies :)
